BRR has been selected to be a new securities list in the Stock Universe of Thai CG Funds as of August 1st, 2018 (ranked as one of the 172 listed companies)
The Thai CG Fund Investment Committee regulates and determines the Stock Universe of Thai CG Funds to be used by 11 asset management firms selecting BRR based on the following criteria for CG-focused universe of securities:
Step 1: The companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand have been recently awarded at least the four-star rating from Thai IOD (Corporate Governance Report of Thai Listed Companies).
Step 2: The companies selected on the Step 1 are certified as members of the CAC (Thai IOD).
Step 3: To be in accordance with the potential changes, the Thai CG Fund Investment Committee will gather the securities list and mutually make decisions again to have proper listed companies in the Stock Universe of Thai CG Funds. However, the Stock Universe of Thai CG Funds will exclude the following listed companies: companies that have been fined or filed complaints against by the SEC, companies that had been undergoing insolvency and so on. Then, the listed companies in the Stock Universe of Thai CG Funds will be announced to the public in order to raise an awareness of good corporate governance as well as disclose in advance for those investors who are interested in investing such funds.
